Well, remember back when we were facing Orlando and we all kept noticing how they appeared to lack a certain "killer instinct"? I think Orlando might think Carter can bring that to them. I agree Turk is probably on his way our now, unless he's just lobbying for more money from Orlando, but even he wasn't cut throat all the time.

I'm not sure Carter is as devastating in the final two minutes as some other players, but he's certainly a guy who can get his shot off whenever he needs to and I think Orlando needed someone like that.

And I think with Nelson coming back Orlando feels like they can almost let Turk walk because they'll be expecting some more All-Star production out of Nelson, which I think they will receive.

I'm not sure if I'm sold on the move, but they are pretty much a perimeter oriented team. Maybe they'll use Carter the way the Celtics use Pierce and then use Lewis the way the Celtics use Allen, you know? That was one thought I had earlier.

Homestly? I think it was a bad move for the Magic....

They need an inside presense that can draw double teams and have the basketball IQ to make the proper passes to the outside shooters.

PLUS- Carter is aging and his arrival in Orlando basically cemented Turkoglu's departure. Turk was Orlando's most consistant offensive force and 'go-to' guy in the playoffs.

Bad move. Your thoughts?

Everyone forgets that we won 62 games last year with injuries to KG, Powe, BB, RA, RR, etc etc etc. That's remarkable but we get treated by (the ESPN [Kobe/LeBron] Machine) media as "washed up".

Like you said, that's fine. We want our compensation in June!
