I just received an e-mail from Peter Stringer, stating that the practice footage used in the Paul Pierce interview is actually old footage, as Lex pointed out in the comments section. So, while Pierce's quote regarding KG is accurate, my personal argument concerning the video is now invalid.
As of this point, if anything is to be interpreted, it should only be Pierce's quote and not the old practice footage. I owe a big thank you to Mr. Stringer for sending me the e-mail and for officially clearing up my confusion.
